• Your unique kit activation code and the vehicle page connected to that code.
• Messages, inquiries, customer-support requests, reviews, and other content you submit.
• Test-drive information submitted through a Test Drive Assurance form, which may include driver’s-license information, insurance information, the proposed driving area, and other details supplied by the participants.
• Information you provide when requesting dealer bids or using third-party financing, warranty, vehicle-history, title, DMV, or escrow resources.

Information collected automatically. When you use the Service, we and our website providers may collect IP address, browser and device information, pages viewed, referring pages, approximate location derived from IP address, dates and times of visits, cookie identifiers, and diagnostic or security logs.

• With buyers, sellers, and test-drive participants. Vehicle-listing content is public. Messages and submitted forms are delivered to the intended participant. A seller or test driver may also choose to send information to a trusted contact.
• With service providers. We use providers for website hosting, WordPress and e-commerce functions, payment processing, shipping, email, messaging, analytics, security, backups, and technical support. They may process information for us subject to their terms and our arrangements with them.
• With third-party resources. If you choose a dealer-bid, financing, warranty, vehicle-history, title, DMV, or escrow link or service, information you submit to that provider is governed by its own privacy policy.

Vehicle listings and their photos can be viewed, copied, or shared by anyone. Do not place your home address, driver’s-license image, insurance document, telephone number, or other sensitive information in a public listing or vehicle photo. The Service is designed to let you keep personal contact information off your physical signs, but no website or communication method can guarantee anonymity or safety.

6. Test-Drive Information

Test-drive information can be sensitive. Provide only information reasonably needed for the planned test drive. Information submitted for a test drive may be available to the vehicle seller and any trusted person to whom a participant sends it. Buy This Car Online does not verify a person’s identity, driving status, insurance coverage, or the accuracy of submitted information. Participants should confirm insurance and legal requirements themselves.

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, complete transactions, maintain business and tax records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, protect safety and security, and comply with law.
